The Chancellor

Ms. Rita Kavashe is the Managing Director of Isuzu East Africa Ltd, where she has served for over 27 years. She holds a Bachelor of Education from Moi University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi. In addition, she is a certified Executive Coach through the Academy of Executive Coaches (AOEC), UK.

Rita began her career with Isuzu East Africa (formerly General Motors East Africa) in 1995. In 2011, she made history as the company’s first Kenyan Managing Director, and in 2017, she successfully led the transition from General Motors to Isuzu East Africa.

Her career spans key leadership roles in Sales and Marketing across Kenya and South Africa. She has also participated in several global leadership development programs, including the Harvard Business School Leadership Program, sponsored by General Motors.
